![]() ![]() During the flashback to the Good and Evil Buu fight, the English versions make it sound like Goku and Vegeta are reading Super Buu's thoughts (Goku did something similar to Krillin during the Namek Saga). However, this is incorrect, as the Old Kai created the Crystal Ball while awakening Gohan's Hidden Potential. When Old Kai's Crystal Ball is on the fritz, Kibito Kai says that he created that one himself.Just like in the previous episode, when Goku lands next to Vegeta with Gohan, Gotenks, and Piccolo surrounding them, there is a shot where Goku is in his base form, then another shot where he is shown as a Super Saiyan. In the anime, they first confront Super Buu for a period of time. ![]() ![]() In the manga, Goku and Vegeta never fight Super Buu, as Vegeta tears out Good Buu's pod before any fight began.Satan following Super Buu around as he goes through a city, gorging himself on cake and sweets, is exclusive to the anime. "Pre-orders will be charged at the end of the reservation period in early May."Ĥ. It technicaly is 4:3, but is still cropped, showing less image than the Dragon Boxes and Levels sets.ģ. I know that's optimistic, but if they haven't finalized the masters yet, it's also possible.ġ. Is it cropped 4:3? Or correct 4:3 faithful to the original broadcasts and the Dragon Boxes?Ģ) Does this set contain any of the movies or specials? Or is this just another repackaging of the episodes?ģ) Does FUNimation charge the $350 immediately, when the campaign ends in May, or when the set ships?Ĥ) Have FUNimation outright said *anything* about the remaster process, if it's even started, etc.? Because if it hasn't, then it's entirely possible that the clips in the trailer are not even from the final product that will be in the box set. I haven't watched the trailer closely enough to see anything remotely egregious other than the DNR, so I'll ask the simple questions:ġ) This appears to be 4:3, as hinted at by the Dragon Balls a few weeks ago. So I have neither the time nor the patience to read through 5 pages of outrage posts, but I get the idea that people here are not happy with this. ![]()
